School Phase Rankings and Statistics – Week 7

Check the latest statistics and rankings for the National Math Bee’s School Phase. We are in our last two days of this phase.

School Phase Rankings and Statistics – Friday, February 28th, 2020

We weren’t planning on posting stats today but we decided to do so anyway. This Fridays rankings include all registered NMB participants, even those who have 0 games played, in any of the four math modes. I thought it would be a good idea for teachers and parents to see which student’s haven’t yet played.

So what’s next?

Things to consider for moving into the State Phase.

The State Phase will begin on Sunday, March 1st at 12.00 am EST. At that point, you will be able to see your students ranking on the tournament tab. Please read through the following information so that there is no confusion about this next phase.

  • 🗓 From 03/01/2020 until 04/30/2020.
  • 🏫 Students compete against other students in the same state and grade.
  • ✅ All students move on to the national phase.
  • 📢 We will keep you up to date with tournament statistics via Facebook, Twitter, and our weekly newsletter.
  • Batting Averages and placements are updated in real-time on the TOURNAMENT TAB.
  • ⭕️ No Batting Average minimum requirement.
  • ‼️ Students must complete a minimum of 10 full games in any one of the four math categories to qualify for a state certificate.
  • 📢 Each week’s stats will be sent out, ranking by 1. State, 2. Grade, 3. Batting Average, 4, Number of Games Played. Games played is the very last column of the downloadable Stats/Ranking File.
  • 🥇🥈🥉Participants with the top three batting averages in each state and category will be awarded a personalized certificate.

*NOTE: The tournament tab DOES NOT filter the 10 full game rule at the end of the state phase.

*NOTE: NO EXCEPTIONS to the 10 game minimum rule. If your child is in first place on the tournament tab but didn’t complete the 10 full games, they will not be awarded a certificate!

*NOTE:  During the final phase, the National Phase, if your child/student hasn’t completed a minimum of 20 games when the tournament ends, their BA will be cleared so that the tournament tab shows the CORRECT ORDER for the finalists receiving certificates.
